Yup, that’s ice.
Apparently Red Rain starts to freeze around -12C. And BTW it had already thawed quite a bit--I never got a chance to take a picture until I got to work. When I started I had very little liquid in it.

Damn, red rain? Trump’s loosening of environmental laws has taken effect quicker than I expected.

Whatever’s causing it, it’s half the price of Red Bull, so... good.

Was it a liquid before you opened the can? I’ve had a few of those. Open it and take a swig then the next swig is a mouth full of slush and then it’s a solid.

Felt like it. That could be what happened.
Hope so, because I’ve got another 6 sitting in my truck and I’m hoping they don’t burst...

They’re probably super cooled if you shake them they may freeze up but when you open them they start freezing around the bubbles.

Don’t push your luck leaving cans in the car in the cold. A bit colder and they’ll pop overnight and it will not be fun to clean up. Speaking from experience, there are still a few reddish spots on the headliner of our Mazda3.

I think I may relocate them to the bed.
